She is a thought leader in the area of Relationship Strategies and has regularly featured on television, radio and has contributed to a relationship column in newspapers. A sort after coach & counsellor for individuals, couples and groups; seminars, conference and key note speaker. She has a vast experience both in the public and private sector. She is the founder of Anchor Relationship Network (ARN), a Personal & Professional development agency with special focus on life skills, personal and professional growth. Currently serving as a Director of Kenya Reinsurance Corporation and Chief Commissioner of Kenya Girl Guides Association.
Jennifer is a recipient of “Women Leadership Achievement Award (WWLCA) 2015 Mumbai, India in recognition of the valuable contribution made to society & Industry. In 2017, recognized for her achievement as East Africa’s Regional Winner in Welfare & Civil Society Organization Sector of CEO Global’ s Most Influential Women in Business and Government 2017 awards. She holds a Master of Arts Psychology degree from Durham University, New Castle, UK and is pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology. Has attended leadership professional courses from various institutes, Singapore Institute of Management, Cranfield School of Management UK, Strathmore Business School Nairobi and Harvard Business School, USA, among others. A member of Institute of Directors (Kenya), Member of Women Corporate Directors, Institute of Leadership and Management, UK. And a Certified Trustee with College of Insurance/HUMPER Centre of Employee Benefits, Canada.
Jennifer, is passionate about uplifting the lives of others and believes her purpose in life is to positively influence by stimulating, training equipping, and encouraging individuals for productivity and better living. She has had the privilege of working with both the private and public sector including churches and non-governmental institutions; Central Bank of Kenya, Commercial Bank of Kenya, Barclays Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Strathmore Business School, to mention a few.
Jennifer is married to Bob Karina, has 3 married children and several grandchildren. She enjoys reading, writing, travelling and playing golf.
